EL REVES DEL AFUERA / MOHO COLECTIVO (2014)

 

El Revés del Afuera es un compendio de obras e instalaciones donde MOHO COLECTIVO trabajó a partir de adornos ornamentales y delicados del hogar, piezas elegantes que intervenidas demostraban cómo nos servimos de lo estético para esconder, camuflar y velar lo problemático, extraño y amenazante de nuestras existencias. Desde el universo doméstico, las artistas Lucía Reátegui y Rossana López-Guerra se sirvieron de lo exteriormente hermoso y “artístico” para reflexionar sobre lo ominosamente íntimo de nuestras realidades más cotidianas.

The Reverse of the Outside is a compilation of works and installations where MOHO COLLECTIVE worked as from delicate and decorative household ornaments, elegant pieces that when intervened showed us how we use aesthetics to hide, camouflage and protect the problematic, strangeness and threatening of our existence. From the domestic universe, artists Lucía Reátegui and Rossana López-Guerra used what it is beautiful and “artistic” on the outside to reflect on the ominously intimate of our daily realities.
